Delivery & Returns

Delivery

All local deliveries are made in person by the Principal on Thursdays.  Orders made before 1200h Wednesday will be delivered on the Thursday of that week.  Making deliveries once weekly allows the best, most environmentally responsible use of our vehicle, which reduces our carbon footprint.  Deliveries made after 1200h on Wednesday will be delivered the following Thursday.  If you require immediate or rush delivery, bicycle or hybrid vehicle courier will be arranged after confirmation with you, the client.  Please inform us of your needs in your order comments, we are happy to assist.

Shipping

Our default shipping method is Canada Post Xpresspost.  This provides insured, traceable delivery guaranteed to all destinations at the lowest possible cost.  Unless you are advised otherwise at the time of order, orders placed before 1700h Thursday will be packed and shipped within 48 hrs.  Orders placed after 1700h Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.  This does not include custom or commissioned products, which will begin production on receipt of your order and ship upon completion.

If you prefer to have your own courier or delivery service make a pick up, please select the In Person Pick Up option and give us your service details in your order comments.  Other delivery methods are also available for the United States and International destinations, but please be aware that these are in many cases more expensive, and cannot be tracked.  Also be aware that delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.  Any Customs and/or Duty charges are the responsibility of the customer, and are not included in the shipping charge.  Ilus Elu is not responsible for any lost items during shipment.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations (large volumes of alcohol based perfumes, for example).

Returns Policy


Your satisfaction with our work is very important to us!  You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  If you have used an item and found it is not to your liking, an exchange or store credit will be arranged.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
